We find apartments for our clients all over Texas. Whether you are working remotely or out touring apartments for your client. You can operate your business however you’d like. Apartment locating is a special niche in the real estate industry that does require a Texas real estate license. Don’t know anything about apartment? No worries, we offer TONS of training both LIVE and prerecorded videos. Plus, there are apartment locating data basis similar to the MLS you will use to find apartments for your clients.

From beginning her career onsite at luxury highrise apartment buildings to starting her own apartment locating company the first year she was a licensed agent 10 years ago. Jordan has managed & operated successful apartment locating companies with agents all over Texas for the last decade. She has a strong passion for living life to the fullest and having a career that allows her the time freedom to do so. Jordan has a strong desire to help others grow both professionally and personally and utilizes her platform in the apartment industry to marry her passions of helping others, adventure, and creativity.

We offer the most training you will find at any apartment locating brokerage. We offer our core apartment locating training which offers over 45 videos (13 hours) of training to new agents plus specialty training on topics like content creation plus LIVE trainings tailored to the agent’s needs. We work the Dallas, Houston, & Austin markets and are familiar with teaching you as an agent how to find success in this industry.

FAQs

Can I sell homes?

No, we are a non MLS brokerage which means you do not have to pay MLS dues each year which saves you $$$. You can referral your residential clients to earn a referral fee.

Do I have to buy the training we offer?

No, you do not have to buy the training, however, if you are a new agent or even an experienced agent needing help we will always point you in the direction of the training materials we have available. Our training has been put together from over 10 years of experience both onsite as a leasing agent and off site as an apartment locator.

What apartment database software should I use?

We have been in the industry a long time and we are happy to give you our personal reviews of systems out there but ultimately it is your choice which system works best for you.

How do I get paid?

Most apartments pay brokerages 30-90 days after your client moves in. We pay you, the agent, after the commission check clears our bank which is typically 1-2 days after we receive the check. We pay via Zelle so you will have it instantly.

Can I have my own website?

Yes, you may use your own website and/or email address. We simply require you to follow all TREC rules when it comes to marketing guidelines. It is your responsibility to be current on TREC guidelines.

How much do apartment locators make?

As a real estate agent you are an independent contractor, therefore, you can work part time or full time. Apartment locators typically make equal to their clients monthly rental amount. Sometimes more and sometimes less. For example, if your client rents an apartment for $2,000 you should make around $2,000 for that referral. We do know a head of time what each apartment community pays to agents. Depending on how much you work you could make a BIG income or just do this as a side hustle!

Do we provide leads?

No, we are setup for agents looking to build their own brand and business which requires you to lead generate. Brokerages that provide leads usually are on a 50/50 splits and we believe agents should take to the time to build their business and keep their hard earned money! This is why we provide so many resources and training to help you build a lasting brand.

Do we provide a CRM?

We do not provide a CRM and here’s why! Most agents sign on with a brokerage and input all of their clients info into the brokerages system but never think about what happens if they ever leave that company? We believe agents should have full control of their business which includes their clients information. We can recommend CRM’s to you!
